Prince William Pays Tribute To The Queen

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge landed in Mumbai yesterday to begin their seven-day tour of India and Bhutan. During their long day, today The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge met young entrepreneurs in Mumbai. While yesterday, on the first day of their Royal Tour, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended the Bollywood Charity Gala at the Taj Palace Hotel in Mumbai, India.

Prince William also paid tribute to his grandmother The Queen at a garden party celebrating her birthday in New Delhi.

He said: “I am incredibly lucky to have my grandmother in my life. As she turns 90, she is a remarkably energetic and dedicated guiding force for her family.”

“And I am so glad that my children are having the chance to get to know the Queen. George and Charlotte, too, will discover how lucky they are to have such a wonderful great-grandmother – a role model for the rest of their lives. ”

Later that day, Prince William and Catherine visited a war memorial and they left a signed message: “Never forgetting those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice”.
